Introductory Obstetrics and Gynecology for the 3rd year medical student and other health professionals in training.
----------------------------------------
For over 30 years, I’ve taught OBGYN to medical students, residents, and other health profession students, and during that time, I’ve learned a few things about giving lectures:
- Learning is most efficient using both video and audio.
- The audio and video components should be complimentary, not identical, and definitely not in conflict.
- Unrelated images may be entertaining, but detract from learning efficiency.
- On-screen motion can be helpful whenever it demonstrates the educational point, but otherwise distracts from learning.
Each of these DVDs contains about an hour of tightly edited lectures, produced to present essential information in the most time-efficient way. Students have much to learn and little time, so it’s important to be efficient.
These DVDs may be purchased individually, or as a package.
