The US Army produced this video in 1978 as a training aid for medical personnel. It was developed prior to the general use of universal precautions to prevent blood-borne illness. Current procures include protective gloves and needle precautions. Despite that limitation, the basic principles demonstrated remain valid. The DVD is provided in DVD+R format, making it playable on most computers with DVD capability, and on most set-top DVD players manufactured within the last few years. Compatibility with other DVD players is not guaranteed. |
