Gynecology Procedures (DVD)

This DVD is a collection of three of our popular 5-minute videos: Colposcopy, Bartholin Cyst Drainage, and Insertion of a Foley Catheter.

The introductory colposcopy video demonstrates the performance of a colposcopy because of an abnormal Pap smear. The basic steps of applying acetic acid, visualizing the cervix, taking biopsies and controlling bleeding are shown.

This Bartholin Cyst video demonstrates how to identify and treat Bartholin cysts and abscesses at the opening of the vagina. The primary treatment consists of surgical drainage and placement of a Word Catheter.

The Foley Catheter video demonstrates how to prepare the equipment, identify the urethral opening on the vulva, and insert a Foley catheter through the urethra and into the bladder. Two examples are give, in addition to the model used for illustration.

Each high-resolution video shows the procedure in detail, demonstrating on actual patients the steps to follow.

The DVD is provided in DVD+R format, making it playable on most computers with DVD capability, and on most set-top DVD players manufactured within the last few years. Compatibility with other DVD players is not guaranteed.
