Cervical Dysplasia is the non-cancerous growth of abnormal cells. It is a common abnormality found on Pap smears and because of its association with cervical cancer, is a source of concern for patients and physicians. This video shows the development, evaluation, and management of dysplasia on the cervix, including its likely natural progression, depending on severity. Using photographs, graphics and video of live patients, this was designed as an introductory teaching tool for medical students, but can be useful to anyone seeking insight into the clinical condition of dysplasia of the cervix.
