This video shows the imaging technique of sonohysterography. During a pelvic ultrasound scan, sterile saline is introduced into the uterine cavity, outlining the structures and simplifying evaluation of the uterine lining and any intracavitary masses. Shown here is one technique for performing this producedure, which includes models, images and recordings from actual exams which demonstrate both normal and abnormal findings. The DVD is provided in DVD+R format, making it playable on most computers with DVD capability, and on most set-top DVD players manufactured within the last few years. Compatibility with other DVD players is not guaranteed. |
