This 5-minute video demonstrates how to examine the abdomen during pregnancy. Using both graphics and actual video, important findings are illustrated, including the normal anatomic changes that occur over the course of the pregnancy. Changes in location of the diaphragm, appendix and gallbladder are illustrated. The technique of measuring the fundal height is shown and applied to evaluation of gestational age, fetal growth, and estimation of fetal weight. The four Leopold Maneuvers are shown both on a live patient and on a fetal model, to better explain how the maneuvers are used clinically. The DVD is provided in DVD+R format, making it playable on most computers with DVD capability, and on most set-top DVD players manufactured within the last few years.
