This 5-minute video demonstrates how to perform a gynecologic pelvic exam, including inspection of the vulva, insertion of a vaginal speculum, obtaining specimens, and bimanual pelvic exam. Important findings are illustrated. Abnormals include herpes, warts, common skin conditions, vaginal discharge, and both cancer and precancerous changes of the vulva. The CD contains a high-resolution video (requiring relatively large amounts of RAM, processing speed and CD transfer speed) that gives the highest quality video. It also contains a medium-resolution video (for somewhat slower computers with less processing speed and CD data transfer) that still provides very good image quality. |
